oh wow, looking forward to that Bionic Jazz EP and anything else he does. I love that Do It To Death joint with J$crilla and the DOOM produced cut. I hope that shit gets on vinyl.

Went back to see what that Ghostmaker album was about and the first shit i found was on youtube, Liquid Smoke. Crazy, I remember diggin that shit from a radio tape years ago.
Can't find any album links though, if someone has one, please send pm.

Oh, damn. Well, hopefully, like he said in one of them interviews, he'll put it on bandcamp soon.

Grabbed this off SB, thanks drizz. Even though it's short, I like this joint more than any of the recent songs he's leaked, him and Deac should do an EP or something.

Kinda weird to leak a vid that's not really a vid, an mp3 would be appreciated.

not trying to be a dick, just genuinely curious - why are you and a few others in thread so tentative and seemingly almost offput by the idea of spekt on a track that's more laid back and doesn't sound like it was stomped into the mud by a timberland boot, even when you ultimately like the song? dude is more than versatile enough to pull it off, as he's amply proven in the last few months

honestly not trying to bait or argue or anything like that, just noticed it as an ongoing mini trend in thread

I know I haven't liked a couple of the more laid back songs recently, but I think it's more just specific songs than not liking a certain style from Spekt. I love his aggressive, animated raps and I love his conversational, introspective style as well. These last couple laid back joints (Shangri La and Nightmares III) are my favorites since Machete Vision.

This Nightmares III track is the shit though, all three of 'em kill it, especially OME. Willie Green and Blockhead seem to be working with a lot of the same dudes these days and I'm loving the results.

I like most of what he does. I like that he's showing his artistry and creativity....this track is definitely different all the way around though...not that I dislike different but it may have to grow on me. I liked Do it to death alot and all the new songs have been pretty on to me. I'm happy he's in a groove more than anything. Don't think I don't like laid back I love it!

I think that's what he meant. The beat is Anomoly from ...Of Heroes and Villains with a few things added to it.

I can't come up with a good excuse for forgetting who Jim Bird was, so I'm compensating for it by displaying obscure knowledge of independent hip-hop artists.

Here are (I think) all of the songs Spekt has dropped or appeared on since Machetevision other than one or two album cuts that are available for purchase. A few of these songs will be on Bionic Jazz, a few were for Persona Non Grata, and some were already posted in this thread in one form or another, but I figured it'd be nice to have all the mp3s in one rar file. Enjoy.

No problem. Honestly I knew I'd missed a few of these too so I was gathering them all today anyway.
