Anybody here pull the trigger on that Mark of the Beast EP? I want to, but it's a little pricey for my tastes.

Not sure. Still trying to find it a proper home. But it is done and ready to go so hopefully it'll drop soon.

Damn, a huge year for you Block. You're working at an Alchemist-like pace. This lead track is really nice. I thought maybe Spekt would be a tough match with your beats, but this sounds great, and I admittedly thought the same about Billy Woods which obviously turned out nice.

almost made the alchemist comparison in the 2013 producers thread the other day. Hopefully, Rockstar will hit him up to score GTA VI...

anyone still listening to the EP with Gary Wilson? i was hyped for that but i've only ended up listening to it a handful of times

Liked a Couple songs off of it alot. Just played it the other day actually. It's a cool ep. I took it for what it was. I'm ready to hear this new project though.

The gary wilson thing was very enjoyable imo, butfor some reason I didn't return to it much after it dropped either. Still, I could easily see myself throwing it on down the line if I"m in the mood for something mellow and a little weird. It's like one of those weirdo private press 70s albums that you come across and it unexpectedly jams, but with rap instead of some acidhead crooning. And that's actually very fitting considering Wilson's career overall.

yeah i liked it and will be giving it another listen. i like spekt but my main problem with the stuff of his i'd checked was the beats. the invizzbl men album is my favorite project i've heard. not a huge fan of kno's stuff and the beats on his other stuff are pretty hit or miss in my opinion. i really like a couple of gary wilson albums though so i was pretty excited for the EP. i liked it but between all the great stuff that's come out this year and the beats being a little more mellow than i'd hoped, i just haven't really gone back to it. when i heard they were working together i was hoping for the beats to be more like this:

Here's a song Spekt and I did together that we left off the album cause it didn't fit in with the other tracks. Gave it to A3C for a compilation that they're putting out.
