Yeah, I only agree with you on the 2nd half of that list. My thinking was more along the lines of better than all the one-hit-wonder dance craze bullshit. Cole & Drake are defintitely better lyricists than 50 and Jim, but personally I wouldn't call them better MCs, nor would I rather listen to their music.

the old 50 used to be worth including in this argument. the rapper that 50 Cent is now is pretty fucking sub-par, compared to the guy who made 'Patiently Waiting', 'I'll Whip Your Head Boy' and even 'Tia Told Me'. 50's wittiest rhymes come from some of his battles, and at their best, they are not even on the level of 'No Vaseline' or 'Quitter'.
