Is it just me or has there been a boom in steroid-use among rappers in the last few years?

I'm gonna pretend I don't care and eagerly download this album as soon as it leaks.
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

I'll believe it when it drops. I'm obviously less excited about this as opposed to when they first started announcing this album, but it's probably going to be the same material. This guy should honestly have a few albums in the vaults.

Has the album been heard in it's entirety? If not, "if it's good it's good" isn't so promising.

Saigon is one of the best rappers to come out post-2000. This CD should have been released a long ass time ago--not sure what happened the first time around. It will definitely be worth checking out when it gets here though; this is now one of the only new releases I am excited for.

Word... It's pretty ridiculous how long we've had to wait for this debut, but at least he's given an official date/label, no? We waited a long ass time for Raekwon the Chef's OB4CL Pt. 2, and it paid off big time. Hopefully the same goes for Saigon.

I'm confused. Are we talking about an album that has been heard already or it it still vapor music? If the latter ... why exactly should we be so certain that it's the second coming of Illmatic again?

I don't think we've heard it, unless I'm missing something... This is why we're anticipating it, no? He did drop a mixtape titled "Greatest Story Never Told" but I doubt it was the album. Why should we think this album will be dope? Well, because most songs were probably recorded many years prior to the new projected release date, when Saigon was dropping dope ass mixtapes all over the place--so with him channeling his songwriting for an entire album with that state of mind... Just saying. Should be dope.

The album's coming out December 4th, 2007, provided Saigon isn't affected by the looming Y2K problem.
