it can't be said she didn't hold her own, to a degree. pretty surprised at how raw this is, straight rapping. it's not a big pop song, which it easily could have been. THANK GOD FOR THAT.

that outro is pretty

but for the most part, this is kinda grimey.

sounds like Nicki is officially going at Lil Kim on this. "yeah I said it: has-been" but who knows. let the speculation commence.

my main complaint about this song is that her "raow raow! like a dungeon dragon" isn't very hype. besides that, they are gunning it.

gonna have to listen to it a couple times to see who outshined who.
Nicki proved herself for 2010 on this to me.

she did outshine Eminem. Marshall's got one of the most liquid flows in the game, but his punchlines lack so much of the impact he used to have in 2001. he's losing the wow factor he used to have. she uses Lil Wayne's weird factor in her own way, but upon repeated listens, she will need to keep up the dopeness for a long time to prove she isn't the new female 2010 Canibus.

(no disrespect, I just heard some insane shit on 'C of Tranquility', but industry wise... Nicki is even more of a hype magnet than Drake)
