Felt like this was the best one as far as the beats go. And Killer Mike delivered his best verses on this one. El-P did ok on the verses but I think I liked his verses more on the first two. Especially the second one. I feel like he really went in on that one. "Call Ticketron" is definitely one of my fav. tracks from it as well. Gotta disagree on the whole they're "dead" or "boring" critique because they've pretty much kept every album in the vein of what they've been doing.

If you listen close it's a significant step down on both sides of the boards. There are some great beats but no Mike verses on the level of "crown" "job well done", no back and forth close to blockbuster night. Elp says in that interview Mike was distracted by the election n didn't wanna record. They did this one over the course of the year rather than holing up in a cabin (NH) like they did for rtj2.

There are a couple beats tho.

Or maybe he should focus less on politics and more on making good music again

#1 on the R&B, Rap, and Vinyl Albums Charts as expected, #3 on the overall Albums chart. They debut #29 on the Top 100 Artists chart (whatever that is), El-P is getting into car crashes with Jonah Hill and buying synths from Eddie Van Halen, 11 sold out shows in a row (213 tickets left for tonight's Miami show in a 2700 capacity) - why would they stop?

I agree, this is definitely fire! Has anyone took the time to listen to this whole album? I've always liked Statik and the features look good. Just haven't checked out the whole thing yet.
