50 Cent is taking credit for shutting down popular Hip-Hop video site Worldstar Hip-Hop.

As previously reported, Fifty filed a lawsuit against the streaming site nearly two years ago after they used his likeness without his permission.

While full details are scarce, it's reported that 50 took the owners to court and won his case.

Speaking on his plans to take legal action, 50 told V-103's DJ Greg Street in 2009,

ג€œI got a lawsuit against WorldStar for utilizing my likeness. A lot of people feel like that was my site because they see my face on the cover of an infringement with I-Robot (on the site) for a long time.
You should really be nice to me because when you're not nice to me then I'm not nice. And because I have lawyers on retainers and I pay them so much money anyway, we'll go back and forth to court until you can't afford a Subway sandwichג€¦ג€

Looks like you can't keep a good man down. Now as I stated before I know what good press can do for anyone or anything. There was a major frenzy about World Star Hip Hop being shut down today and 50 Cent took to his twitter page and took responsibility. Later in the day Angie Martinez got 50 Cent and Q CEO of WSHH on the phone to clear some things up. 50 was not responsible for the domain not being able to be accessed today and Q stated that they were just down and would be back up in 24 hours. Now with all the drama going on look what has just been announced. World Star Talent Agency.

World Star Agency, established in 2011 by WorldStarHipHop.com owner Lee Q Oג€™Denat and Tashea Margeolas, formerly Multi Entertainment Group, Inc. serves as a full service talent Agency booking the biggest names in the Entertainment industry. Specializing in a variety of services from tour planning, concert & appearance bookings to talent endorsement deals, World Star Agency is a one stop source.

Built on a strong foundation, World Star Agency is an elite team of specialist dedicated to providing our clients with the highest quality of professional entertainment available. As well, we strive on offering something that no other agency can and thatג€˜s the in-house marketing for artist on the worldג€™s biggest urban internet site WorldStarHipHop.com. World Star Agency prides itself on successfully becoming the leading talent booking agency bringing a new outlet to the industry.

i'm FULLY AWARE of the WSHH phenomenon. i know about their stuff.

but i've only seen their ghetto madness on other websites, ~linked~.

I have NEVER FUCKING ONCE gone to watch videos on WSHH the way I know people do, like everyday. I have never once clicked a video on that site and watched it... especially from my own house, are you fucking joking? LOL. I was with a friend once at his place and I saw the front page of WSHH and saw how popular it is... i have even seen some of those FUCKING INCREDIBLE HOT BODY GYALS dance to Vado and Lil B and Soulja Boy songs while holding their pinkie fingers over their nipples and flirting across the line of wankable porn and soft core teasing... but shit is too fucking ghetto for me. not even for research purposes could i spend time there.

it's like myspace meets the jizz encrusted floor of a 80's era Times Square XXX store... PLUS DISGRACEFUL HOOD HOP

having said that... seeing how it's nearly dead, i probably will put myself through the experience just so i know what my people are doing to their brains.

50 Cent is right (even though he's OBVIOUSLY the most hypocritical idiot to say it) but
"I don't know why people underestimate me. I just shut down WORLDSTAR for future advertising contact thisis50.com suckers lol," 50 tweeted Monday (January 24).

"I put worldstar to bed, you don't believe try me I will shut your sh*t down. Lol"

"I predict 2 more web sites will shut down this week. Take a guess who they are. I'm sick of the hate I'm to strong."

"Me and @FloydMayweather don't thing worldstar was good representation of black people as a hole. We will present better"

"I want to thank howard gordon and the good folks over at homeland .hahaha suckers your move"

"50cent: I never lose q should have know better. He cant afford to go back in forth with me.http://plixi.com/p/72240142" (50 Cent's Twitter)
I "don't thing" it represents Black people very well, "as a hole", either.

LMFAO @ a functionally illiterate multimillionaire trying to be "the voice of reason and morality" in modern day hip hop.

i'd stop saying RAP IS OUTTA CONTROL, if rap ever was not out of control.
