He's so technical and that alone always ensures memorable and creative albums, what's not to like?

for real i always thought he one of the nicest/best rappers to do the super multi/fast flow shit to a perfection.

but he NEVER gets props from anyone. at most i'll see a thread or two from two years ago posted by BorkenBorkenstein talking about how he GOT DA SIKKEST MULTIES EVA. but on the real he was real fucking dope with it. much more so than any other rapper that tried to copy his flow/rhyme scheme/style/vocab

Percee is real dope, but I think his potential outweighs what he actually has to show catalog wise. Unless I'm missing something I should have been up on.

One of my favorite Percee P verses

I remember myself years ago writing down his lyrics and noticing how almost all the words rhymed. it felt like I discovered another kool g rap or something. LOL now he's just spamming people with shit. madlib's remix album is bananas.

One of the best yet in Rhymes and flow but not in business, you need all three to survive and make money in this day and age. I fear he will die a poor man like so many of the Jazz greats

He's decent. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you were at Fat Beats and he tried to sell you his shit, most of you saying how dope he is probably would've just passed him by.

He should've made an album in the 90s, honestly I'm not tryna hear a Percee album now. But he's a decent rapper.

He's a Legend and represents real Hiphop to the fullest. Growing up he lived in Patterson Projects on the 5th floor of
a building looking right down at the park where cats used to battle... Legendary battles! He has a million and one stories.

Have you guys listened to this Perserving The Culture Podcast he was on a few months ago???
It's about an hour long and they talk about all kinds of ill Hiphop shit! It's a must listen...

"Wicked = Genuinely loves Hiphop and respects it because he grew up during the time when it wasn't full of southern mongoloids and Lil Wayne rappers. From his mixes you can tell he knows his shit. The problem is, when you are a smart dude preaching to a bunch of fucking morons, you end up getting singled out as the douche."

got discovered way too late, which is a shame because if he got the business shit down straight earlier in his life this thread would look a lot different.

when he raps its like original organized konfusion style of rhyme, but he was probably perfecting the wordsmith rapidfire style well before the first OK demo came out. agreed with mishk that he will go down much like a jazz musician: appreciated for the the skill, the savvy though not as important.

super nice guy, and easily the only dude who stood outside of fat beats that i would be genuinely happy to see.

these facts alone make him an amazing MC and his music worthwhile to listen to.

I bought that perseverance album, listened once and nothing caught my attention right away, so i shelved it. I then sold it yesterday at my local music shop for 2 or 3 bucks. Should i have kept it? I figured a madlib produced album would be great, but it seemed kinda boring.
