"Doomsayer" is sick and for those who think JJ Doom is a bad album, I know it's an opinion, but your opinion is ridiculous.

I just watched Mayer Hawthorne do a dj set at sxsw, and he played a Jake One track with DOOM and Elzhi on it, with some r&b sounding hook. Is that something old?

nah, never heard that though a couple of lines sounded familiar. hmm.. I dig the smooth modern soul sampled sound.

DOOM re-uses a verse from Borin' Convo at the start of that track. Dope as fuck track.

J-Rocc dropped a track last night that has DOOM on the intro, Del on the verse, and sounds like maybe Madlib on the beat?

The beat is Viberian Sun Pt II from the JJ DOOM album...not sure about the verse though.

the way ghost was talking, i thought we might see the Ghost Doom end of summer, but no idea if ever a MV2, which is what im sure we'd all rather.

I'll be happy if dude just rocks another album over his own NEW beats. I thought Born Like This had some great moments, his last decent to very good album. IMO.

song itself could be better but just the fact that it exists is pretty cool

clams needed to do more here, go a little beyond his comfort zone to make it really pop. he made a typical clams beat instead of producing a beat specifically to fit doom's strengths. wfiw, doom didn't really bring his a-game either

it's the same problem as Biochemical Equation with RZA, shit looks cooler on paper than it actually sounds.

Clams doesn't often step out of his comfort zone, IMO, which has been one of my gripes with him from the start. I think DOOM came correct though.

i think the most stepping out of his zone clams has done was with his big krit remix.

looks like doom had to get uncomfortable on this track to make it barely work. and doom doesn't even have to be like that to be relevant.

the songs sounds like DOOM is adapting to the beat while he's rapping and nails it by the end.

I dig it
