My Neighbor Is Releasing a Mixtape

Post by Dan »

I've known this guy for about a year, talk to him everyday, yet never even knew he rapped until tonight, or that he goes by 'Magnum.' I don't exactly look like a hip hop head, so I guess he never felt the need to tell me what he does on the side.

He has no idea I know this about him, I just found all of this tonight. I'm such an Internet stalker.

Anyway, do I try to hit him up for a free tape or is this shit too embarrassing to own? Part of me likes it cause I know him, but if it were anyone else I know I wouldn't even give it a full listen.

i would listen to that song again.

i suggest you nonchalently discuss local rap w/ him and then mention some wack dude name Magnum.

My apartment walls are pretty thin. As I'm typing this I can hear him talking. Meanwhile, I watched his video practically on mute with my ear to the speaker cause I'm paranoid he'll hear me listening.

I wonder what he'd do if I bumped this really loud?

I say you find out. Bonus points if you rap along at full volume as well.

this thread is much more creepy than simply finding out he was a rapper while browsing the web & bringing it up that you're a rap fan to him

I was out walking my dog and saw him walking home from work, so I stopped him and told him I saw his video. He didn't ask how I knew, but he seemed happy. He says he's been rapping for 4 years, but never pursued it until a few weeks ago. Then told me he'll hook me up with songs he's done.
Now we're Twitter friends.

This has been a happy stalking story.
