Big Sean - Finally Famous

Post by Escobar305 »

Have not seen a thread about Big Sean, so figured I would make one. Very witty punchline driven rap done pretty well. Signed with Kanye's G.O.O.D. music. I enjoyed the mixtape Finally Famous and now the album is supposedly coming out June 21st. First single with Chris Brown is good and serves its purpose.

Best song from him:

My little cousins just introduced me to this cat the other day, some BET awards cypher shit, not my usual style, but I liked what I heard, I'll definitely check the album.

I don't know, maybe I'm just trying to relate to my lil cousins in hopes of turning them on to dope shit in the future. I just saw the BET cypher with Kanye, Common, Pusha, & Big Sean & thought he stole the show (not saying much though). Also just thought it was funny I hadn't heard of him when they usually just listen to Kanye, Wayne, Drake and the like.

Yessir. Plus he started the flow that Drake, Wayne, Nicki, Jay, etc. use.

I actually saw this homo live. Was drunk as shit...but some local opening act brought out Rasco (kurupts brother) to preform Cali in the Summer Time....that was the only thing I enjoyed for the whole show...oh that and the buzz I caught.

Resolved Question
Does Biggie Smalls hate HipHop???

"Shoulda been a cop, Fukc Hiphop"

I've been wondering what he meant by this.
Additional Details
Rap sucks, HipHop is better

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters
Naw, he likes hip hop and rap. He was just referring to if he hadn't started rapping he would've been a cop.
So he's cursing it, not that he doesn't like it, just for the sake of it.

I guess that song with Chris Brown is good for what it is supposed to be, but he's not a good rapper. He'll be nowhere in a few years.

i can't stand Big Sean. Annoying voice. A poor version of Kanye when Kanye is on his more comedic steez. "Since I signed to Kan, I'm Louis Vuitton Sean, up at Benihan-han, eatin all the WON TONS!" The beats he raps on are usually pretty good, but too bad it's him rapping on them.
