Starchild - RAD!

I've been bumping this for a bit now. It's awesome.
It's full of odd future type humor, but genuinely funnier.
The beats are chill, laid back 80s style loops that have been compressed like crazy.
The raps are smooth, and flow over the beats perfect. This skits are awesome too. Peep.

Not even listening based on cover alone. Convince me otherwise.

Nah.

There's no rape, Drizzle. Sorry to disappoint.

Frankly, even though it's kitsch, the cover is what may entice me to listen. Half of these faggots out there claiming to skate, pfffft. Praising Supreme box caps, makes me want to throw up in my mouth, when I'm not throwing up in my mouth...

Thun, that picture is snapshot of suburban skateboarding in the mid to late 80's. You weren't stuntin' that shit, I assume. I haven't listened yet, but clearly they're paying reverence to the history of skateboarding, and I'll assume based on that, there's some good influences and reference points therein. A photo like that is to modern day street-skating culture, what say a song by Brand Nubian or Rakim is to modern day hip hop-- too often overlooked, and rarely respected for the ground they paved. Or something.

This shit better be good.

This is somewhere between a lower-fi Count Bass D, Ugly Ducking and Foreign Legion. I dunno...
