MA DOOM (Masta Ace & MF Doom)

Post by krylonjukie »

Evidently this will be new Masta Ace material over Doom beats from MMM.....Food?

"Masta Ace is currently in the studio finishing up his new project called MA Doom, an album of beats by MF Doom and rhymes by Masta Ace. We should see this album in stores in June, but no official release date has been put out yet."- http://www.blackouthiphop.com/ma-doom-m ... -doom-pbs/

Sample track...
http://www.divshare.com/download/14733289-e2d
The track is called 'PBS' and will not be included in the album.

I think that this has potential but I am not that excited.

Read thread title and got excited it would be another doom project that would never happen.

Sounds amazing. DOOM beats can be dope. And anything Ace puts out is worth copping right now, so, I'm amped.

Ace pretty much always puts something out I want to hear. Always had a very crisp and clear flow. Over MF's beats, this should be pretty dope.

agreed....has anyone been more consistent than ace...he doesnt have the high points that a lot of other people have but he has done something that pretty much no one else in hip hop history can claim

dook has put out great material in the 80's 90's and y2k's

but what really makes him special is the fact that hes been around for so long asd has never put out weak material

Not too excited to hear old Doom beats but I'll download it to check it out.

That PBS track kind of sucked.

why not just put out new, original material? fwiw, i like ace and loved mm..food, but this trend of reusing old beats from different artists is unbelievably boring. i have absolutely no interest in this at all.

Lol @ DOOM making something new.

Assuming that Daniel Dumile is even alive, you would need to get Seal team six to locate the guy and force him anywhere near a beat machine or notepad.
