Bumpy knuckles mixtapes

Post by bignormy »

Just realized that there are a ton of Bumpy Knuckles mixtapes floating around there, but a few are on itunes and rhapsody that I'm having trouble finding. Irony is I'd buy them in a minute on CD dont' want to buy a download.

Found links for

The OG Vol 1: Get Rich or Die Trying

Krupt Mob

Leaks vol 1

Royalty Checks with KRS is available for purchase on CD here:http://www.682records.com/index.php?opt ... Itemid=439

Lyrical Workout with Statik Selectah was just released, I found it on soulseek

But there's still more out there I can't find, can anyone help with these:

The OG Vol 2 (Realmatic)

Music From the Man, vol 1 (prod Jesse West)

Industry Shakedown, special edition (with alternate tracks)

all are available on rhapsody and itunes, the special edition of shakedown is on emusic for anyone who wants to grab it with a free trial

I guess amerikkkan black man never dropped, by the way?

Street Triumph from a long time ago is easy to find and was released on CD,

Thanks for this post-I had no knowledge of these.

Would really like this one: Industry Shakedown, special edition (with alternate tracks).

What happened to American Black Man, the lp with Pete Rock?
Kool Keith: I wore a straw hat with a feather to the last Source Awards. When I got to Madison Square Garden everybody was looking at me. When I got back home I seen everybody and their mother in their video wearing a fuckinג€™ straw hat with a feather in it.

Tim Dog: ג€œWhat Kool Keith gonna wear? Iג€™m gonna do that shit in my video. Iג€™m gonna wear that shit really quick. Whatג€™s Tim Dog gonna wear?ג€

It's ironic that digital only releases are often less bootlegged/shared online than physical releases.

Probably when you have the physical cd, you don't mind throwing a bone to strangers by ripping it;

But when you pay for a download on itunes, you're hesitant to share it online because you're giving away for free the exact same thing you had to (over)pay for.

Maybe sometime I'll do the emusic free trial for the Industry Shakedown special edition. Maybe I'll record all of them free through audacity thru rhapsody if I can't find them, but that's such a pain in the ass it might be better to drop the 20 bones and buy the download. Anyway the tantalizing thing is that all these are there for the free listening and pseudo-analog recording for anyone who wants to take the trouble.

clarifications:

How to Rob 2008 is actually on the Get Rich or Kill Trying OG Vol 1 I gave the link for, not on vol 2 Realmatic, so there you go.

Music From the Man appears to be only on itunes.

The others are on rhapsody so the direct recording option is there. Maybe I'll just buy the itunes one at somepoint...

The OG Vol 2 : Realmatic. all classic nas beats!

Got audacity figured out...can cut out the silences, make sure the tracks transition right, label the tracks, and have it automatically label the files properly and everything. working on industry shakedown special edition now.

thanks a lot of this stuff, I keep getting this message, though:

'The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable.'

Usually that means it's a no-go for me.
