Has he gotten substantially better then he used to be? Cuz I wasn't really feeling his early shit.

Yea, this stuff is leaps and bounds better than the rest of his career. He has settled into a stylistic groove lately. His shit with Rick Rock was pretty awful, he had a good thing going in 09 with Zay, OJ, Waka and them (Black Gangster is a good tape), but this shit is clearly his best work. To go from that stuff to songs like "Where Do Gs Go" was unexpected.

This is the first I've heard from him so I can't call it. The beats are a major factor, but I've listened to this mixtape all the way through like 3 times already.

Where Do Gs Go is hard as fuck.

This was surprisingly dope. He's sounds like a way better rapper than a few years ago and I'm loving the production on this way more than when he was rockin with zaytoven
