Besides the fact that they are both from north philly, I don't hear a resemblance in their styles at all. Meek has a very pronounced case of philly shout syndrome, peedi is all about style and different flows and shit, Mill is pretty much all classic philly street rap. More in common with Gillie than Peedi.
Not too mention that Meek has been around for quite a while, he's not some new cat that just showed up, he's just now getting exposure.

Regardless, new tape is pretty great. I've been playing the fuck out of Body Count.

That Meek Millz/Young Chris House Party is probably the most played song in NY right now (Outside of Jay/Kanye album). And normally, popular songs annoy the fuck out of me, but the track is cool.

i try not to shit on philly rappers just being a homer but i cant stand shit this dude puts out. ive heard his shit for yrs and always thought it was trash. hes not top 20 philly imo but hes got a really good manager....
