Chedda is dope and one my fav. to watch battle. I just think Bowers took an approach to him like no one has done before. Had a powerful flow, too.

yeah, diz is way more entertaining and got some good lines. doesn't always grab my attention but i can't front on his abilities to go in when it comes to his battles. as long as he doesn't choke like he did against locksmith or do what he did against nocando, he can take it. dna is hit or miss. if the dna who battled rich dolarz shows up, he could quite possibly take the win. if the dna that battled big t shows up, he could very well lose. shit, if diz takes the angle x-factor did against dna, he could really get handled.
overall, i'm glad they made this battle happen. about fuckin' time anyway. i wonder if cortez is pissed about this at all.

Nah, Hollow still fucks with GT, too, but i don't know if him and Lush are cool though. Conceited still fucks with GT but I think he more so showed up to a lot of battles. Cortez is diverse, IMO, but he got ahead of himself in a few battles. He beat The Saurus. But he got mashed on by Marv Won and Real Deal. I need to re-watch a few of his others that were good.

the downfall of personals is that they are a crutch. if thats all you can do, you can be perceived as a damn private investigator than an actual battle rapper. what people don't understand is that personals can even cost you the battle. i say throw in a little personal shit but shows some skills, too. show people you can flow with or without multis.

just watched the sketch/bender battle
i think the judges gave it to sketch cuz bender had so many pauses and forgot his shit for a while. that swayed it. but sketch screws up here and there and has to restart lines. i dunno it was close but the whole "i only used 35 minutes to prepare for this" thing NEVER works in these battles. nocando loses them even if he actually beats the motherfuckers

i keep forgetting about that damn choke. ah well, unless you can completely come back from a choke, they're usually impossible to overcome. yeah, when people say that "i didn't have to prepare" shit for a battle, usually means that did have to prepare for the battle.

i just finished the bender/illmac one
man i gotta admit i thought illmaculate was an overrated battler who took advantage of a nice freestyle performance at scribble and a bunch of 2 on 2's with thesaurus (who can write his ass off despite being such a douchebag) and thought he lost the majority of his biggest battles but holy fuck he went off in this one. i think i gotta give it to illmac, he had all the energy and he has a lot of meandering setups but his final punches are fucking ridiculous
