Kirby is always good, Factor is usually good, and the first album they did together was really enjoyable. I'll buy this.

Just found out about Kirby's hip hop meets classical hybrid project with Ensemble Mik Nawooj. Some of it is interesting...

Oakland, California's Ensemble Mik Nawooj (EMN) performs the innovative music of composer & Steinway artist JooWan Kim, who blend genres like classical, hip-hop, film music, jazz, & pop into a unique musical hybrid. For the past year they have been working with MC Kirby Dominant & MC Rico in hopes to create a unique mix of hip hop and classical. This new video is their latest collaboration with Kirby and shows how exciting JooWan Kim's hybrid brainchild can be when it's flawlessly executed.

If you like what you see and hear above, catch up with Golden Fetus Records and their past creations with Kirby, which includes Great Integration: The Chamber Hip-Hop Opera Act. 1 (2009) and the 13 minute track, Without Goodbyes (2010).

Kirby has always been a standout and that classical project seems to be perfect for him. I can't remember but there was another cat I heard trying to do the same but it wasn't as good. looking forward to this one....
