Philaflava Posse Cut '11

Post by Philaflava »

Before the year is over I'd like to keep tradition and put together another great posse cut. Over the years I've realized what many of people already knew, this board contains a lot of fucking talent. Talent on both ends, producing and emceeing. These posse cuts started out as a novelty but as the years grew, talents did as well. To me, these posse cuts are time capsules.

This thread is just to gauge the level of interest. I also think everyone should revisit these posses cuts and see the growth in many of the :phila: members. This posse cut will be more less like the previous year, it doesn't need to be solely :phila: based but I would like to incorporate something to the theme.

If you're interested in contributing please post in this thread. If we have enough interest then I'll work with some of the beat makers and see if can lend us a banger for this joint. Being that we're in September I figure we have ample time to complete this before the New Year.

Who are the submissions open to?

Despite me being a reviled and renowned faggot of a poster, I'd like to drop something hot (nh) and attempt to salvage whatever is left of my digital life.

So......open submissions or what?

In the past we've had a few beats we polled. Nobody is turning down a beat from Blockhead though.

You have talked NUMEROUS times about spitting, yet nobody has heard you. These have always been open to every forum member, active, lurkers or retirees, but I must admit, I am curious to hear you rap but I don't think you'd ever submit it.

If you're sincerely interested in this project, then you're more than welcome to submit it. But let's not detail this thread or mock it please.

I can't rap, but would be more than happy to donate a beat if you need one:

I listened to twenty-seconds of the first beat and turned it off. Shit sounds like another watered-down Dilla-clone beat some faggot would post on YouTube with a picture of some rare ass record they've never owned.

FUCK YOUR BEATS.

Hope this happens. Always enjoy these. '08 was my favorite, Falside killed the beat.

lol. I take your opinions just about as seriously as I would a ranting crack head in the tenderloin. I'm pretty sure you were instructed not to shit up this thread with your faggadocious larger than life internet persona antics too. Thanks for listening though!

Okay so this is now only open to emcees.

Blockhead will be doing the beat again so no submissions at this time. Once we have the beat I'll post it for submissions. Stay tuned.
