I been a fan. This kid Zesto was the one who first got me to actually listen to that song he did on the Gza album and after that I was sold.

This is great. Album will be auto-cop status.

Woah. This is THAT K.A.? He's gotten much better. Him and Pachino the enforcer used to stay ruining decent Natural Elements songs.

Shit's dope. Dude killed it on Marcberg too - that and the GZA joint were all I'd heard of him before this.

so last night i dug into his Iron Works album from 2008 (GOOGLE IT, IT'S THE FIRST THING THAT COMES UP). it's good and very enjoyable, but short of true greatness. 'very promising' is a good way to put it

dude is def very much in the marciano vein, with some similarities to what AG has been doing recently. he's not quite as gifted with the turns of phrase as Roc, nor does he go for the all out painful earnesty like AG, but he does make up for the shortcomings by maintaining a continous vibe of quiet badassery. there are a few songs on the album as good as Cold Facts, but nothing that trumps it. so i get the impression that he's continuously improving, meaning his next album will likely be better. hopefully that materializes soon, this vid is supposed to be the first single

This is okay, though, on the real. He's not ready for prime time, oddly. Let's not have him setting up a collabo with Big Daddy Kane and DJ Premier in the next week, ok?

^
I more just like the overall vibe of that one song. I can't say I'd wanna hear a whole album of his though.
He has improved a lot though. His N.E. days were fucking unlistenable to me.

He did have the best song on that Gza album...for whatever that's worth.

Glad to hear this dude back in the mix on the rap tunes. I don't agree about him ruining NE tracks, I think he was ripping shit nasty back then but I can see how his 'lets fit a thousand words into 3 lines' style might annoy people.

Don't forget he was also in the Charlemagne produced group Nightbreed in the late 90's too:
