Heard through the grapevine he has an album coming through Mass Appeal/Decon. Haven't heard a word about Arch Druids and someone said the joint album with KA is way on the back burner until some other things get finished. Haven't even heard any word about any projects with Man Bites Dog.....Speaking of which are they still a label? Last few things outside Roc have been complete and utter rubbish.

Hopefully they don't dissolve before the AG da Coroner project sees light of day.

yeah I don't know what he's up to, kind of weird. There was that interview where he was like "i'm gonna do an album a month for the next sixth months" which he didn't do thankfully, but it would be great to get another full solo album.

The album with Alchemist is the one I really want from him.

Judging by Ka's reaction when I asked about Metal Clergy while buying his latest, that shit is never coming out.

i dont' think anything bad actually happened, more like it just stalled out and the fire has gone out of the endeavor. Ka's response was kind of an awkward 'yeaaaah we'll get to it soon, we're just working on other stuff now and ummm [trails off]'

a rapper acquaintance of mine who claims to be privy to the behind the scenes info on this described it as 'it's 90% finished but in that way where the rest might never get done - the material is there but they just can't seem to connect to finalize the details and lock down the actual details of releasing it'

not sure how true that second part is but Ka's response alone was already telling enough without it

That lines up pretty well with the progress reports Ka had been providing in interviews over the past few years. I trust it'll be released.

I'm not so sure it'll be released, but yes the description by the friend Drizzle mentions is basically what Ka told me back in 2012 as well. Something along the lines of "I think it's 90% done, Roc thinks it's 50% done." My guess is we'll just continue to get individual Metal Clergy songs on all their projects from now till eternity, but not sure they'll ever actually record an album. Their processes actually seem fairly different to me these days (from afar at least).

yeah I think it is. Although Mega's rap formula is almost parody on that verse.

Roc kills it though. He seems like he's in a zone right now.

Mega's album this year was actually pretty good. I mean you gotta be comfortable that it's kind of grumpy old man boom bap, but in that vein of music making it's about as good as it gets.

I thought Mega came more correct that Marci on this one actually. Didn't like Roc's closer. That said, I agree that this is the best of the few tracks they've done together so far.

This is some reactionary shit right here ... no fucking way. I mean, I'd love to hear that ALSO, but not more than.
