Got to be honest, only given it one spin but it hasn't grabbed me in the same way RR2 initially did.

is it streaming or for sale? i don't see it on Itunes.
it's on his site for $30: https://roc-marcianos-online-shop.myshopify.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

did rr & rr2 ever go to streaming platforms? pretty sure he's doing it all dolo now.

They are both on iTunes. Not sure when they put it on there though. I can imagine this will go up there as well.

Pretty much everything he's done is on Spotify.

It's a solid album. Like it a lot. Worth $30? Ehhhhh. Probably not.

kinda worried he's going to dilute the well with too many releases dropped in quick succession like he did after Reloaded

there's a whole another album with Muggs coming next month

Maybe the $25 price tag on the last album worked a little too well and he's decided to do a DOOM.

He didn't drop anything for a while, so my guess is he had a bunch of stuff done and was just waiting to get business in order.

First impressions of this album are that it's better than RR2. RR1 hit so hard just because we hadn't heard anything from him in years. So this might actually be better than that too. It's definitely mixed better. Production sounds more cohesive. And Roc's singing is great.

"Fabio" is one of the best Roc songs I've heard in a long, long time. If he and Alc ever drop a full album together, it's a wrap.

This will be on Spotify and available for sale via Fat Beats. I think he just does his $30 exclusive thing for a week and then it becomes available elsewhere.

Actually thought Roc whooped him on that track. Liked Busta's verse, but his hook or whatever you want to call it, slowed the song down a lot I thought.

idk man I was dying laughing. also just glad that he actually did a good verse that caught my attention instead of a perfunctory veteran cameo

Fabio is a definite standout. His flow on the beat-change is nuts.

I feel like this is the evolution Roc was telling us he was going to make years ago, when he said he wanted to start singing more and shit like that. And it couldn't have come at a better time, when so many MCs and producers are running his style into the ground. Also a few of the different flows that didn't come off so well on the RR albums, possibly due to mixing, were nailed here.

But on some real holy-shit shit, is that an uncredited Q-Tip vocal on track 2?!

Thought the same thing bro.

That and I think he may have used the sample on No Love before.

definitely Tip, I feel even more confident in confirming after watching Roc's Instagram Live over the weekend which consisted of him and Q-Tip aboard a private jet flying to and from Vegas to see the GGG/Canelo fight (GGG robbery #2).

also the sample Roc uses on the Black Thought track is also used on the title track to Cavalier's album Chief. Both songs are amazing as is the sample.

Hard to call it a robbery when GGG's face looked like he got into a car accident after the fight. Nelo whooped him.

Starts at 2:49

Also, his manager Jazz did an interview discussing the back story to the album a bit.

https://soundcloud.com/beenthererockedthat/jazz-un-gang-and-jesse-pais

- Recorded it after RR2
- Mostly recorded with Q-Tip at his studio
- Q-Tip had a big hand in making the album, mentioned he's uncredited on a few songs
- Q-Tip also produced two other songs that didn't make the album
- Talks a bit about the making of Marcberg & Reloaded
- Sounds like Alchemist had a much bigger influence on Reloaded than's been discussed

Shit is crazy as I assumed it would be honestly. As I always said, Roc is great in doses, but those doses, especially the first couple of weeks after the project drops are always fantastic.

And yes, Fabio is a standout and the Gotti HBO movie sample is splendid.

Love this album! Roc Marci is the only hip hop artist I’d spend money on & he delivers everytime. I was going to his NYC show w/ meet & greet @ Sony Hall, but he was canceled last min. Oh well.

Is that ?uest drums on the Black Thought track? I know he’s a big Roc fan

this thing keeps growing on me (outside of trojan horse which is just a ridiculously ruined beat), I think it's battling RR for third best roc solo jawnt
