Haven't heard from Vanderslice in a minute. Gave Roc a few good beats a couple years ago.

first track on here is allegedly an unreleased version of that Busta/Biggie/Dilla song with a Roc Marci verse (Marci's vocals sound lower than the rest, maybe they spliced two versions or something)
Oh shit, saw Roc or Shoes or somebody tweeting about this song the other day. The mix on there is available for download so it's light work to slice it, no?

Thanks for the links!

That screams to me that he didn't wanna spend money on the same production he spent on Reloaded. I don't mind Roc beats, but having a variety like he had on Reload only helped him make the best album he has ever made.

Also curious about no Ka feature.

I know Roc likes to stay in his own lane generally, but he has plenty of artists that would make beats for him in exchange for a cameo verse or song, so he should take advantage of that more. I'm with Phila on this one- his track record is much better on other people's beats imo.
All that being said- I'm still hyped for the album

sadly it doesn't matter who produced it if it's mastered like a wet fart again

Beats are whatever. Rosebudd's beats were dope. If he masters this like shit again like he did with Beacoup & RR, it's gonna be pretty disappointing. Switched from some dude Joe Laporta who did Marcberg & Reloaded to in-house for the other two.

He produced all of Marcberg himself, right?

you may be right. i take back that statement. and i agree with drizzle about the mastering being the most important aspect. rosebudd's revenge would have gotten exponentially more spins if it knocked while making his lyrics clearer in the mix

He wasted his dope beats on that Thurman Munsin album last year.

I think Fat Beats made sure that album was properly mixed and mastered. Then Decon did the same thing since they got stupid money. But if he makes beats anything close to We Ill, Deeper or Death Parade, I'm good.

didnt he produce most of Reloaded?

Just preordered it. Don't mind chucking a few extra $ Roc Marciano's way.
