i'd say two autistics comparing and contrasting between bagel holes and the color purple (the actual color, not the literary entity)Thun wrote:Kinda strange how Nas talking to Tyler is pretty much the same as Ghostface talking to himself.
celebrity interviewers are worse than celebrity djs, but i think the main idea behind the piece was 'lets put these two in a room together and watch the wacky hijinks fly' and in that sense they do succeed

first part reminded me of those interviews Mindbender used to do where he just rambles on about when he first heard the artist and how they influenced him personally, as if the reader gives a fuck.
some interesting things in there though, the main one being that XXL still exists. I havent seen an issue for ages.

Yo man, do you like cheese (please don't say no)?
This wasn't that bad, it was a fairly good read, thanks for posting. I remember in the 90s when Chuck D said something about the first generation of rappers having been grown men who had something to say (or even knew what they wanted to say), as a comparison to the younger acts in the 90s. Now we have basically kids, and even man-children.

Kool Keith: I wore a straw hat with a feather to the last Source Awards. When I got to Madison Square Garden everybody was looking at me. When I got back home I seen everybody and their mother in their video wearing a fuckinג straw hat with a feather in it.
Tim Dog: גWhat Kool Keith gonna wear? Iגm gonna do that shit in my video. Iגm gonna wear that shit really quick. Whatגs Tim Dog gonna wear?ג
