K-rino Signs With Strange Famouse Music

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Strange Famous Records) Sage Francis signs horrorcore rapper K-Rino from Houston, Texas to Strange Famous Records to release the much anticipated album "Deeper Elevation." The album is scheduled to be released on January 29, 2012.

The single "Fake Martyr" produced by the late J Dilla is a diss track aimed at Immortal Technique, which is now available on YouTube and other blogs. K-Rino explains the beef started when Immortal Technique called Southern rappers "swagging monkeys" on Twitter, which K-Rino took Immortal Technique's statement as vulgar and offensive to Southern rappers.

The second single "Foolish Activists" featuring Vakill of the Molemen group is a diss track aimed at Rebel Diaz and Lord Lhus. K-Rino explains Rebel Diaz & Lord Lhus dissed Vakill on a track. Being closely associated with Vakill, K-Rino allows the opportunity for Vakill to address the feud, while allowing K-Rino to submit his thoughts on the drama.

The album also features an unreleased verse from Eyedea, Slaughterhouse (Royce da 5'9, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, Joe Budden), The HRSMN (Canibus, Ras Kass, Killah Priest, Kurupt), AOTP members, Pitbull, production by DJ Premier, DJ Khalil, and much more.

I would probably buy K-Rino's cds and a t-shirt or something if they knocked the price down a bit - no way I'm paying $15 plus shipping a cd and $30 a t-shirt.

Shit is funny as fuck. I was legitimately perplexed while the thread was loading.

K-Rino's manager hit me up a few months ago asking if I'd do a song with him. Out of respect I said yes.

Shit, I think I forgot to respond to his last email.

if you read the posts in this topic, specifically the one right above yours, you'll see that it's not real.

If you used your brain, specifically the one in your fucking head, you'd have realized he knew it wasn't real.

Seriously. How about saying yes because he's one of the best rappers currently doing it and you should be honored that he even knows who the fuck you are?

Anyone can update Wiki. The lowercase R in K-Rino and the misspelled Strange Famous is pretty much all you need.

I talked to Mac Lethal about his interaction with major labels after reading various posts on his 30,000-some-strong Facebook fan page. Despite his reputation as being a never-sober Facebook troll that often makes wild claims just to rile up his fan base, the rapper speaks professionally about labels approaching him, having a clear understanding of the music business and whatג€™s good for his career. He seemed genuinely disinterested with the prospect of signing to a major label, literally laughing at the terms he had been offered.

ג€œThe Sony one was five albums and then I believe two options and then one sales milestone option where if a certain amount of records were sold I had no choice but to put out a record with them,ג€ he tells me about the deal that the behemoth multimedia company put forth. ג€œAnd, it was a $250,000 advance. Which, thatג€™s like insane. Thatג€™s like, ג€˜Hey, let us bend you over and put like 3 cocks in you at once.ג€™ Itג€™s outrageous.ג€

The whole thing started about three months ago, shortly after Mac Lethal responded to a video titled ג€œPale kids raps fastג€ posted to YouTube with his own interpolation (ג€œPale kid raps fasterג€) showcasing his even-faster rapping chops. It seems funny, but the video ג€“ after garnering some two million views ג€“ caught the interest of a few labels, including Sony and ג€œWEAג€ ג€” as Mac put it ג€” the Warner/Electra/Atlantic conglomerate.
