Black Rob 'Permament Scars' (full track/untagged)

Post by step one »

aka the beat that eventually became 'Feel It In The Air'. Not really TROY material yet so thought it'd be better off here...

thanks to Mike Nice for hooking me up with track and The Martorialist for the write up.

Happy Christmas :phila:

thanks.

I like Rob's version a lot better.

Beans started up with that whisper rap bullshit at that time. Rob starts falling into it at two minutes on this one. I've always been a fan of Rob.

I like Black Rob a lot (nh) and this track is cool, but its not even close to touching Beans version IMO.

What was so good about Beans track?

I think my problem is i just didn't like how Beans rapped on it. I just hate that style with a passion. The lyrics were very very good though so I see why people feel it.

Happy Holidays!

Here's a couple of other joints someone put an EP together with Permanent Scars, not sure exactly where each rip came from though:

Has this really been unearthed recently? I've been having an untagged CDQ version for a while now, and I'm pretty sure I got it from the :phila: ... Oh well, thanks anyway.
