blockhead you should consider branching out and doing some EDM type stuff, this hip hop stuff, with annoying flutes and shit, its real whack. nobody wants to hear this shit. EDM is whats hot.

Got my copy of JustPlayWitIt over the weekend, bumped it like 5 times in a row. Fire. I assume several, if not all, of these beats were made specifically for Spekt. Either way, you definitely took your production in a new direction with this one. (Same could be said for Dour Candy IMO.) Great work. Very glad this exists.

I can't say I really make specific beats for anyone. I make them and they pick them. In Spekt's case, he went for a particular mood. I was real happy with the direction he took cause it did get to show a different side of the kind of bats I generally make.

Yeah, it's funny. Spekt, Woods and Illogic were all picking beats at the same time and there was really no overlap in the type of tracks they chose. They all had a very specific ear for the kinda tracks they wanted to make.
