I never really understood it.

"We can "shoot the fare one" (???) with a camera..."
To "shoot a fair one" is to have a one-on-one fight. The part about the camera is likely a reference to Camu Tao's photographed and arguable "beat down" of Copywrite, at which Cage (and maybe Yak Ballz?) was in attendance.
word, it somewhat makes sense, but is still mad funny due to the laughable misspelling of "fair" and the unknown reasoning behind the excessive usage of quotation marks
There's nothing unfunny about Vast Aire's post. I wish he would write a series of books in the same vein.
According to his MySpace, he has written a book on religion that he's shopping to publishers.

I just checked again and it seems he deleted all but two entries, but he did state about a year or two ago that he was writing a book about his interpretation of all the world's religions and his own spiritual practices.

This was about a half-year after the initial Cage back-and-forth, and shortly after his Cage/Jux dis "Scream Phoenix 2010."

Never really checked this out. Semi-interested to just for the good moments. I remember listening to it in someone's car once and liked a song or two at the time, but never really felt like checking. Vast after Cold Vein didn't really hold my attention. It seemed to me, and granted I didn't follow him as closely as many others did, that he went from captivatingly eccentric to plain obnoxious in a very short period of time. I won't say all of the appeal was production, but he's one of those guys who certianly needs a certain type and quality of production to remain listenable, and even then he's much better when he can drop in for 12-16 bars in the midst of one or more other emcees. Save "F-Word," I don't think I've ever liked a song from Vast where he's the lead emcee with no partner, and even there, Vordul's chorus was probably a saving grace.

Random "I appreciate some Vast moments" factoid: When my son wants to act hard he yells, "Now you standin' there with razors in ya head like berets!"
