Is this song finished? Is there a good quality version of it anywhere?

Yeah listened to the new album yesterday. Not diggin it as much as Superbad... but that album ruled winter 2009/2010 for me so it's not really a fair comparison...yet. Definitely gonna get much more play this summer.

Early standouts for me are "Window of My Eyes," "No Juice," and "Mercy on My Soul." Those'll def find their way onto summer mixes.

The album is about as good as the mixtape IMO - 66% fire and a few songs with weak features and/or beats. Post-jail Boosie is rapping way better than what I dared hope for.

I can't think of many people who had their debut more than 10 years ago and is still rapping this good. Boosie is like a rap superhero.
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

Def a top 5 worst name change ever.

1 Rubber is an all time classic, imho

Young Ready, C-Loc & Max Minelli - 1 Rubber

And speaking of terrible name changes fucking C-loc going to Big Dawgg...seriously that is on some Mike Bigga better switch it back real quick steez. C-loc >>>>>>killer mike of course. I wish his old school new law albums which were both great didn't have his stupid new name on it.

Ready dying reminded me that B.R has THE single most fucked up rapper(s) death story ever.

Dhat Fam w/ Mista - Expose One

3 teenagers called Dhat Fam and Mista make a song talking about a bunch of local chicks they've smashed by name, and 1 of the teenagers in the group brags about jizzing on a baby when its mother has the baby in bed with them. The kid's dad then kills 2 members of the group, and 1 of his goons kills the 3rd member.

3 out of the 4 guys in the video are dead now. Mista's still alive but he's in prison for murder. Song was cursed.

It's a beatjack of this Lil' Phat cut from 2010 which DJ B Real produced:

Ok. They used that part on The Return of the Real mixtape in the intro here:

kinda trivial but I wondered where that came from

since there has become this whole new orleans hip hop preservation library thing going on, tulane has been posting interviews recorded for their digital library. the actual webpages with the interview videos display interview dates from back in 2012, but i think they just recently got uploaded to their site since KLC posted his interview on facebook yesterday and Mystikal posted his on facebook today.

anyhow, have a 6 Shot interview!

hah, they even interviewed Mr. Ghetto!!!

and Impulss, which is kinda surprising. I remember him from some nola message boards.

another one of those "mixtape" albums that's for sale on itunes. spotify for your datpiff purposes.

on a side note, i saw freddie gibbs last night and he was selling shirts for $30 and hoodies for $75.
i guess this 360 deal world we live in now has artists price gouging their merch.
i guess to really make it big in rap you gotta have a screen printing plug.
i decided to buy a mixtape from his opening act, Jay IDK, to support the dude.
mixtape (a CD-R copy of an album i already got off datpiff for free) cost me $10.
not doing that again.

Ok. Fuck everybody then.

Whop does a good job of legitimately making me mad on this one. When he stars on that I'll sit on your couch and roll a blunt I start to really wanna hurt the man. Which is why this is good

Newest WNC single is their best since Cross Me:

WNC Da Label - Who You Playing With

WNC signed to Trill apparently. Don't know how that's gonna work out except that Turk is gonna start puttin' Lil' Trill on all their best songs from now on

Is that a guess from Instagrams and some drops or what? Turk can't be dumb enough to fuck up yet another song/artist with lil trill imo

Turk will force Lil' Trill on any artist's song.

Says Trill Entertainment presents WNC Da Label at the start of the video. Boosie posted on Instagram that Trill were tryna sign them a couple of weeks ago.

i guess this (WNC) doesn't include JMM Larry, who's my favorite of this bunch of young Baton Rougeans.
