amazing

the one thing that can make the song better is a verse from devin.

Big Boi>>>>

We need a Big Boi Sir Lucious Left Foot revisited thread. 2 years old now, and clearly the best rap album of that year and recent memory. I have no interest in going back to the Kanye album. I'd like to know if Drizzle has changed his mind on this album, because for some reason his dislike for it bothered me. I trusted you bro.

Dude...not cool.

These tracks were undeniable:

Daddy Fat Sax
Turn Me On feat. Sleepy Brown
Shutterbug
General Patton
Tangerine'
You Ain't No DJ
Fo Yo Sorrows
Night Night
Shine Blockas
The Train Pt. 2
Back up Plan

Sure Vonnegutt sucks, but that track isn't that bad, same goes for the Jaime Foxx track.

I liked Big Boi cos of his all over the shop delivery, non sequiturs, humour etc, apart from some of the bonus songs his flow had become way too Kam-ish rigid & regular. I miss "I used to hang out with my daddy's brothers, I call em my uncles" Big

Its just a decent album with good production & some bad rap&bullshit imo. Plus it was kinda the beginning of his descent into late period Banner/Bun B style old dude earnestness, something I hoped southern rappers might not succumb to that I blame entirely on K-Rino's goat status.

Agreed. Definitely one of the best albums of the last few years. Big Boi >>>>>>

I just wish Big Boi would put a BIT more substance in his songs, sometimes.

beats are fresh, flows are fine, style is sick.

It's there. It just comes in morsels. He's just not the "you do the hokey pokey and you turn your life around" type.

Huge supporter of that album, definitely one of the best from 2010...but Marcberg was released in 2010. I pull out the Big Boi joint every once in a while, but Marcberg still gets spins on the reg and is a superior (albeit different) album in just about every way.

More details have trickled out about the follow-up to Big Boiג€™s top-notch Sir Lucious Left Foot.

On his Twitter page, the Outkast lynchpin revealed that his new album is mooted to arrive on November 13. The record, titled Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumours, will feature contributions from the Big K.R.I.T and sadly defunct duo UGK.

Big Boi also recently gifted us languid cut ג€˜She Said OKג€™, featuring Tre Luce and hipster-hopper Theophilus London. Weג€™re still hoping Big Boi reverts back to the original album title of Daddy Fat Sax: Soul Funk Crusader, but the promise of new material from the Southern charmer this year is definitely enticing.

with an album title like that, I hope he makes us think while he makes us nod our heads

UGK can mean one of three things:

1. Bun B solo verse
2. Bun & Pimp w/ Pimp's verse materializing from the luminiferous aether
3. Bun B & 3-2 (if the Super Tight-era rumors are to be believed)

Most likely is 2. 3 is obviously never going to happen but hey I can hope, right?

I liked Sir Lucious Left Foot, but I don't think it is as good as many make it out to be. Def a solid album that had many joints, and although his flow changed up a bit since back in the days, he was still sharp. Not hating at all but I remember heads going crazy over it and I think that is a bit much.

Looking forward to the new album but damn, can we get a fuckin OUTKAST ALBUM PLEASE??
