they put a different spin on it here. scarface especially sounds emotional, almost luring the listener into thinking he's talking about a real woman. scarface's emotion>>>common's only feeling emotion towards men

How is this a terrible beat ?

Drums, vocal samples, chorus scratches. This is better than most beats from Nas's and Ross's record.

this is actually way better than expected. the beat is fine. if this wasn't connected to khalid and didn't reek of obvious 'we can still do da real rapz yo' pretensions on his part it would've been proclaimed the best thing since sliced bread seconds after it dropped

pretty much. purists will hate the association but anytime you get nas within 3 degrees of preem it's heat. face is just a bonus.
