Welcome Back Users
For the next few weeks we'll be doing some minor tweaking to enhance the site and its layout. Instead of being down another day we thought we'd bring the board back up for everyone because it is 100% fully functional now.
Random Sample spent a great deal of time making sure the entire forum carried over flawlessly. We're not done with the layout, nor have we opened up all user features or disabled some for that matter.
It will take a bit to get used to, but I can assure everyone that this change was for the best. I would suggest you take the time out to get familiar with some of the new features in your User Control Panel. Now is the time to update your info, sig or add a birthday.
Mods, you'll have a new tab as well. You can also report threads as well as warn users should you need to.
If you have suggestions please let us know. It was our decision to have a slight change in the color. I feel the light grey is easier on the eyes and is a little more appealing. We're still the baby blue and we've even managed to incorp some pinstripes colors in the mix. Again, nothing is complete yet.
We're aware of some of the emoticons missing and the sidebars will definitely be adjusted soon. We're working on some coding for you to post Youtube. This version is way more advanced than we thought and literally has thousands of new features, so it's going to take some time to figure all out.
Instead of keeping you waiting, it's time you get your Baby Blue fix on and settle in. Go in, go in.
Peace,
Philaflava & Random Sample

Re: Welcome Back Users
Which emoticons should we have as default on the side panel? I don't want to clutter anything up. The Front Colour shit to the right can go IMO.
Also please use this thread for all suggestions.

Re: Welcome Back Users
When I clicked on a link earlier it took me to the page, rather than opening it in a new tab like it used to. I hope this is something that can be changed back.

Well we can keep sigs if they are URLS. But the big image shit has got to go.

Are avatars available for the starving masses, or just mods/HLBs?

Avatars w/o sigs are the best.

Re: Welcome Back Users
only prob is we allow links there is a huge gap. if we can somehow eliminate that space it won't be so bad. otherwise i'll just do away with sigs all together.
Re: Welcome Back Users
FWIW- the online/offline button could go away and I can't imagine anybody would care.
I might also force smaller avatar sizes. For one line posts they end up being about as long as 2 paragraphs would be because of all the stuff in the sidebar. If you kill the status button and shrink the sigs everything gets a lot tighter and more readable.
You probably can't make them clickable, but if people want to pimp links they could use the location field. (or can you actually have a website or twitter field display in that area?).

Re: Welcome Back Users
i like the online indicator. avatars are set at 125x125 limit. that isn't that big.
