Re: The Underacheivers
Come to think of it these kids might've done a couple songs during the Flatbush Zombies set when I saw them open for Cam'ron earlier this summer, or maybe they were just there. Either way, glad they're doing something different with that sound.
Re: The Underacheivers
i like what has been posted so far
much better than those flatbush zombies that appear to be on the same label / collective.

Re: The Underacheivers
Their videos do connect with the FZ vids so that makes sense.

Yup. They're a part of the same camp. I found these guys when I was looking at some Zombies stuff a couple months ago.
I'm kind of surprised nobody has remarked on the straight up Raider Klan imagery biting in the second video and then of course there's all the Zombie-isms, which I guess are ok since they're in the same family. Still the whole thing strikes me as a couple guys with decent, but not mind-blowing mic skills, latching on to available aesthetics to try and fit in with some type of larger movement. I haven't seen anything remarkable come out of them yet.

Re: The Underacheivers
^I feel you but I think what grabbed was the darker skin dudes voice and personality. The other dude is okay but didn't jump out to me as much. Also, the beats are pretty fucking dope.
Re: The Underacheivers
These guys are nice. Gold Soul Theory is dope as fuck. Don't know what it is but like these cats quite a bit more than FZ who didn't really stand out as much to me. Yeah, one dude has charisma. They talking 45 King Mark James on production? GST beat is catchy as hell.
Re: The Underacheivers
This'll sound cliche, but fuck an aesthetic. Skills are skills. I'm into their beats and their rhymes, regardless of marketing strategy. Having heard five songs, I definitely want to hear more.B. Can't say the same about Flatbush Zombies.

Re: The Underacheivers
these niggas need more push than those garbage ass FZ buls
Re: The Underacheivers
I can't deny FZ for some reason. I normally don't like the whole east coast doing the trap sound style but they just got something about them I can dig. I definitely agree there kids are better as a whole in terms of beats and rhymes. Can't wait for the mixtape.

Re: The Underacheivers
I've had their songs on repeat all weekend, I genuinely hype for 2morrow. Got a feeling their tape won't disappoint. All 4 vids posted in this thread are going to be on the tape, so the rest can't be that worse, right?
Re: The Underacheivers
anyone got a link for the mixtape yet? can't find anything through google.

Re: The Underacheivers
you guys need to step up your internetting
The Underachievers @THEUALIFESTYLE
Mixtape pushed to the end of the month, but for good reason. Stay tuned for awesome news from The Underachievers
might venture to guess that whatever phantom helping hand was nudging Flatbush Zombies along might have a part in this too. might be a good guess that the mixtape will pop up with conspicuous guest spots and some sort of signing announcement
