I don't like the inclusion of "Amen" as an actual album track... should have been a bonus like "Burn." But that's a minor quibble. I like Meek a lot, but we have to see if he can hold attention for a full album. Generally I can't sit through an entire mixtape of his in one sitting and prefer to hear individual songs here and there. I think it's just that his flow - which I like - is too similar from track to track and everything runs together. Hopefully some more diverse production and quality guest spots will help with that. Kind of too bad there's not at least one State Prop guest shot here, but I understand at the same time. Still, would've been nice to see Young Chris or Beanie show up in the tracklisting.

Interestingly, Jay-Z contributed a verse to "Lay Up," but was somehow unsatisfied with the outcome and nixed it. Meek assured us that he has that version but it's unfortunately relegated for his iPod only.

Jay-Z doesn't rap like he used to and was disappointed by the fact that he got absolutely murdered by Meek on the track and had zero to gain by appearing on the album in the first place. So, he backed out.

Haha I believe it. Meek prolly murked that shit. In these moments, I liken meek to the durant of the game and hov plays Jordan. Jay only rhymes with young rappers he most likely outshines lyrically (see drake, j cole, etc)
