Shit this must be the "secret" project young god told me about dropping today.
Skull & Bones was supposed to drop today as well. Can't wait to hear both.

this shit is good, like REALLY good. Chilling stuff. I haven't heard a lot from Farrar, but I like what I've heard and every song on here goes. Dude pours his heart out on basically every track. Him and Nacho sound great together too.

http://bsbd.bandcamp.com/album/presents-skull-and-bones - The Skull & Bones album is up too. I haven't listened to the whole thing, but what I've heard from it I really liked.

For lack of a more nuanced perspective: that's a dumb fucking complaint.Tired & Broke wrote:Why cant these mutha fuckas work for with talent artists? looking at you young god.
While I'm no acolyte of Deniro Farrar it's difficult to argue that any other producer/production team would have given him this personal and dramatic of a beat treatment (nh @ whole preceding sentence). Plus those dudes (nh @ "those dudes") have worked with a ton of talent. I, too, deemed their rapper preferences peculiar at first, but they make a lot of sense within the context of BSBD's production.

both projects sound good upon first listen
Re: Deniro Farrar and Blue Sky Black Death
Thanks to everyone who checked it out.
I'm surprised Drizzle and Panama don't like Deniro. Aside from his own talent regardless of us, I Thought he complimented our beats perfectly (although we did remix most of them to compliment HIM.)
Panama, who would you like us to work with? Not that I'm gonna take your suggestion to heart, but I'm just curious.

They're two kids from Washington. Just based on twitter it kind of seems like they run in the same circles as Nacho and Key Nyata - although that could all just be the BSBD connection.

Re: Deniro Farrar and Blue Sky Black Death
I didn't like Deniro at first either but I'm glad I went back to this because "Just in Case the World Ends" and "This Is It" are real nice.
Re: Deniro Farrar and Blue Sky Black Death
I ended up buying this and enjoying the fuck out of it. I've really started to dig pretty much everything I've heard from Deniro Farrar and I think the BSBD beats compliment the fuck out of his flow. It's the best project I've heard from Deniro. Props on this.
