sleazy, I don't know far back you go with Memphis rap but "stangin" is there from the earliest underground tapes. just the Memphis way of saying "armed robbery". If you already knew that, my bad.

Ug made a post on FB earlier more or less saying he didn't split up tracks to make it more like a cassette tape "mixtape" format. I feel what he's saying though. Besides, I'm sure it's been split up by someone already.

I actually enjoyed his black metal track way more than what I thought I would. I figured it would have been more on that WITR trip than straight cold overblown tremolo necro.

i had no idea.
my memphis rap knowledge is very limited. introduction was probably seeing three 6 "tear da club up" video on BET in 97 or so. I probably didn't know they were from Memphis back then, either.
i think around 2004, oddly enough. i acquired a tad more knowledge of older independent memphis raps due to a friend, which is where i heard and learned the term "lookin' for the chewin", which I still consider the most amusing way to speak on inquiring fellatio.

"Playaz bout that Hogg" doesn't actually mean that guys with multiple girlfriends enjoy swine and or pork related products such as bacon. It's just another way of saying that guys with multiple girlfriends are on fact greedy when it comes to the acquisition of wealth and material possessions.

"Shake Junts" is a reference to limited liability gentlemens relaxation parlors.

"Funkytown" is a reference to sections of neighborhoods where the procurement of powder cocaine is convenient.
