finally heard this. it's pretty cool. i can respect it as an artistic progression and as a discordant fuck you through it's production and lyrical content. i like hearing his rage and frustration with race and class issues mixed in with just standard clever kanye raps about sex and wealth. i appreciate that as a vocalist he's learning more about how to express raw emotion through his non-rap voice without relying as much on autotune. interesting how he is both rejecting pop culture and simultaneously creating it. this lp will not demand repeated spins like all his others did. new slaves is still the best song.
