Above is a very recent tweet from Gucci Mane announcing that he'll soon be changing his name to Guwop. This is mind-blowing and we really don't want it to be true for some reason even though it's just a name and we'll all be able to still call him Gucci Mane and his rapping probably won't change at all. If I had to guess, someone at Gucci the clothing brand finally decided to sue him for using their name. Alternatively, the answer might lie within his recent track "Guwop Nigga," where he asks, "What you wanna be when you grow up?" The answer to that question is, presumably, Guwop.
