This is the first I've heard of Aeon Grey, he's a rapper/producer from a Des Moines, Iowa hip hop group called Maxilla Blue. This album is reportedly 7 years in the making and it shows. He uses a lot of live instrumentation (guitar, drums, trumpet) to create an incredibly polished group of beats for an underground hip hop album. He's not an amazing rapper, but he's a really good writer and maximizes his ability throughout the album. If you liked the Cult Favorite album, you should enjoy this one as well.
