Hi,
I recently posted interviews with J-Zone and Prince Paul on my blog. I was hoping to post the links here to share and get feedback. Is that cool with the people on the board? If not, all good.
Thank you,
DJ Sorce-1

Re: Interviews
as long as you're posting links to actual interviews and not just spamming with links to your blog, you're good

Re: Interviews
Post the interviews with a link. It's cool to plug your site, but if a post has just a link in it, then it's usually frowned upon.

Re: Interviews
Cool, thanks guys.
To give you a brief overview...
The J-Zone interview is cassette focused. We talked about sampling from cassettes, obscure albums, etc.
The Prince Paul one has Paul breaking down the making of De La Soul is Dead. We talk samplers, legal concerns, sampling process, etc.
J-Zone Interview (in 3 parts)
Prince Paul Interview
If you dig them, I am currently transcribing an interview with producer Dibia$e abut the Roland SP 303 and 404, which will hopefully be part of a new series on my blog focusing on those two samplers.
Feedback is always appreciated.
Thanks,
Sorce-1

Re: Interviews
Thanks a lot man, appreciate that.
I'm gonna share one more, a interview I did years ago w/ Skillz about the making of From Where that has always been one of my favorites.
We talk about working with Reef, J Dilla, Extra P, Q-Tip, etc. Skillz is a really cool guy with a lot of interesting stories.
