awesome to see this finally happen

maybe he'll prove his greatness once and for all

I did an interview with Jadakiss once and told him "yo dude, your verse on 'Why?' with Nas is one of the FEW times in rap history anyone outshined God's Son!" and he was like "thanks"

I hope he gets Styles P on there for a few bangers. They have EPMD-level tag-team chemistry. Probably the best 1-2 combination of NYC street rappers ever

Jadakiss needs an anthem

And anyone who can outshine Ghost over one of the hypest RZA beats in centuries is the G.O.A.T.

Not top 5. But if we're talking straight street hop then fuck yeah. No one has been more consistent. Only problem is I can't do a whole album of the dude because it's basically every song talking about how hard it is in the street and how real is and how much he gets hustling still. He's too nice of a lyricist to stay on these same tones.

You're baiting, but there's but so many ways you can talk about your bricks, packs, guns, money, bitches, cars and other things. Albeit, he does do it more clever than most, but I'd be interested in hearing the nigga rap a story or even something introspective to a similar beat that he does his trap hop stuff to.

Thanks step. I forgot about Feel It In the Air.

But again, the beats are not as fire as his trap stuff.

In the end, I'm not hating on dude. I bump Jada on the reg, so maybe I'm just being extra critical.

I consider myself a pretty big Jada fan. But, with that being said, I check for his mixtapes before his albums. That Consignment mixtape from last year is great. I just wish he would use those types of beats for an album and stop trying so hard to appeal to the radio. That song with Ross is good though.

^^ song is a bit meh. Sounds dated. Their joint for the recent Tony Touch album was much better imo

'Why?' is one of the most well-done "conscious" singles EVER. And I think Jada outshined Nas, one of the few people to do it.
Why did Bush knock down the towers?

I'll take any Lox over no Lox. Summer's Too Hot is decent. Jada does spit a good verse.

I like Jadakiss and The Lox but it seems like ages since any of them made a whole album of music that sounds good, effortless, and uncontrived at the same time.

We Are The Streets is really the only good Lox album, and that came out in 2000.

I didn't peep the whole album at the time because the cover was laugh-inducing stupid. I guess I made a mistake?

Shut up faggot. Grown men are talking.

Thun: yea, horrendous art work aside, it is worth a shot. IMO, The Lox have never fulfilled their potential, collectively or as solo artists. But WATS is probably the best, most cohesive project we'll ever get from them.
