To me, he is the absolute epitome of fake rapper, and the #1 most fraudulent artist in the history of hip hop.

Nothing personal, just my two cents on the matter. I don't lose sleep over it.

Rick Ross completely ruined the amazing song 'Accidental Murderers' on Nas's "Life is Good", so once again we'll see what's :bunk:

but since Jay-Z got so much shine last summer by being on Ross's 'GFID' with Dr. Dre, I guess this is the result :blank:

rap is outta control

Steve Stoute is Jigga's manager now? :killacam: does Stizzoute head up Roc Nation right now?
that label is mad weird
I just checked this on Wikipedia but apparently the two are partners in Translation Advertising.

And Stoute has been responsible for a lot of big hiff-hop endorsement deals and collaborations period. He did the 50 Cent/VitaminWater deal, Jay/Hewlett Packard/Reebok , etc. Hooked Dre and Jigga up for "Still D.R.E." too

He seems to be biting Aesop Rock, lyrics wise. And possibly meat wise.

Not very surprising, these so-called critics also praised Kanye's new album to heaven even though it was a big pile of steamy hot putrid swanking shit.

Precisely.

Both indie mags in Toronto (who are very fucking white supremist, having no Black editors or writers on staff, and only give token, convenient coverage to Black Canadian culture in February or July for Caribana) have fallen head over heels jumping on the Yeezus bandwagon, one giving 4 ball-slobbering stars out of five, and the other giving like 8.2 ass-licking wows out of ten.

Many people have to fake something on some level to enjoy this Kanye West album. It's okay to love someone who made something you hate, people

I love Kanye West's creative spirit like hell, but he's a fucking idiot too

I know it was. But it's fun to run with shit and get crazy stoopid yoe!

They want to make parody reviews from seeing song titles alone?
Well then I can pretend it's real and then freak out and then change my mind whenever I want

I like to pretend fake things are real sometimes... why?

BECAUSE THESE DAYS: REAL THINGS ARE OFTEN EXTREMELY FUCKING FAKE

:omar:

fake like my interest in someone being so full of themselves, they think releasing the lyrics to something to READ ALONG TO will generate hype, when we are dealing in a genre strictly based on LISTENING TO AUDIO. And this isn't like Rakim or Brother Ali or Killah Priest putting out the lyrics. This is Jay-Z, a man notorious for his capitalist and minimalist bent. I don't feel a lot of people being like "whooooa, those lyrics are intrepid, gawddd (MC)" from the general vibration of internet reaction

so let me create my own fantasy world too, where a fake review of an album is taken seriously because when the album seriously comes, i doubt i'll be able to take most of the real reviews seriously.

...just like 'Yeezus'. Peace to Kace.

When I'm diggity dead serious, I'm jiggedy joking... and when I'm joking, I'm internet: SERIOUS BUSINESS

:ignore:

I know the review is fake. I tried having fun pretending a fake review was a real one. I will have more fun when real reviews come out for this new Jay-Z musical marketing scam, and I fake being convinced by their arguments.

Pharrell's physical ad-libs are my favorite parts of this Samsung campaign so far
oh, and when Jay-Z puts on P's voice and says "I always wanted to be a verb"

but I don't need you to qualify the moment with your sanctimonious opinion of "that's a great answer", Hov :bunk:

this MCHG campaign is not the coolest thing to happen this year. Daft Punk even did better. and Drake is building his buzz even more interestingly than Jigga

sigh

Jay-Z recently purchased a piece of art by Swizz Beatz that portrays the image of iconic artist Jean-Michel Basquiat painted on a Mercedes-Benz hood.

I'm perfectly neutral. That's the best Timbaland beat Jay-Z has gotten in YEARS. I hope Hova puts great lyrics on it. They haven't made something classic since 'Brush Ya Shoulders Off' and 'Hola Hovito'.

Swizz Beats is getting MARGINALLY better, with the co-production assistance of Timbaland, and the universe.

Pharrell is still magic all by hisself. Jay-Z is lucky and smart to work with him again. They need to push each other out of their comfort zones though, cause we don't need another 'Change Clothes and Go'.

Rick Rubin will hopefully give us something else on the level of :ohsh: as '99 Problems', cause that's one of Jay-Z's best songs ever.

Will see. Posting lyrics with no music is fucking foolish, and hopefully will not catch on.
These ads are annoying. They are like Gap ads for rap.

Waiting for the music.

The show will go on for Jay-Z. The rap impresario has won permission from the city to perform atop the Ed Sullivan Theater marquee on the “Late Show with David Letterman” a week from Monday, sources said.

Jay-Z needed approval because his performance would mean closing Broadway around the theater, which runs from West 53rd to 54th streets, during rush hour.
