I thought the album was decent. Not a classic, but not as bad as his last few releases.

Decent album but nothing that I am in love with on here. I was expecting more for some reason. I am usually pretty fired up to hear new Jay material, but for some reason this has not caught me the way I thought it would. Maybe a few more listens. Some of it is pretty dope, though.

i had this on in the background
was expecting more based off that teaser commercial , which had me hype

turned around from what i was doing a few times to say " :killacam: am i trippin, or is his rapping sloppy as fuck?"

methinks amst not and thine rapping est foul.

was coming into thread to comment. listened to the album today. listened before purchasing. will not purchase. i will purchase the JT f jay z song though...and itunes tag it as a JT song...holla...a bunch of the album sounded like wyclef era canibus fodder and not in a 'dude is vicious' kind of way.

on that note; also listened to the entirety of JTs album 20/20 Experience. album of the year in every genre that counts as far as im concerned. shit is fucking fire like dylan. outrageously good album. insane. this kind of shit reminds you why music is great and awesome and worth being into

no kidding my friend and i had the same thought; a bunch of the shit on magna carta sounds like jt throwaway beats. in fact if magna carta was a JT album im 100% sure it would be listenable front to back many times and not filled with wack canibus/ja rule sounding garbage. not that every song is bad. but a large enough % is really not that sweet

serious though 20/20 Experience is album of the year to me barring somebody blowing my mind even harder

edit: i will say though. as much as i thought this album was not fire i think it could break into something new that could be sweet as far as making these kind of big ambitious albums go. im with gloss that this album is not really for me. will i come back to it? anythings possible i guess. i finally dug Stankonia after like 10 years on the shelf....

Jay sounds like a guest on his own album. if that makes any sense.

You guys cannot be serious; Timberlake pees on "Picasso Baby"'s hook. It is too awful to describe in words or pictures or hand signals.

any album that has mirrors on it cannot be the album of the year....unless you are talking about the best album to make every experience 21% less enjoyable.
