Re: Nine - "ITS OVER DOG (DMX Diss)"
was going to post this yesterday.
this is one of the realest, most rational, logical and proper dis records in a long time.
he literally answers questions people might have about the beef with DMX as he is rapping
Nine has every right to say every word here, and the fact that it's over the 'Get At Me Dog' beat is just too
rap is out of control

Maybe in '95 when Whutcha Want was popular but I'm telling you DMX is so far removed he is in his own world. If you asked him who is Nine he'd think you were talking about millimeter.

But Nine was all over Funkmaster Flex's show before he dropped his first album. I'm sure any up and coming NYC rapper knew who he was.

i dunno about other parts of the country, but in NYC nine was pretty well known back in the day
Re: Nine - "ITS OVER DOG (DMX Diss)"
Of course DMX knows Nine. One of DMX's early works was over Nine's - Any Emcee. Plus Nine was well known back then. I'm going to check this out later. Thanks.

Saying if someone where to ask DMX today about this beef with Nine I'm telling you he'd have no fucking clue.

well thats cause he's a drug addict and prob has memory issues, but there is no doubt in my mind DMX knew who nine was in the mid 90'sPhilaflava wrote:Saying if someone where to ask DMX today about this beef with Nine I'm telling you he'd have no fucking clue.

Re: Nine - "ITS OVER DOG (DMX Diss)"
This is random to do this now. If this record came out 7 years ago maybe I'd understand but now we are like 17 years removed from Nine being relevant. Great to hear him though, and I always thought DMX was basically a bootleg Nine anyway. Nine's 2nd album the one with Lyin' King was amazing and I don't know why he didn't get a 3rd album or why it didn't hit the way it should have. I still bump that song "warriors" with Bounty Killer.

This is even dumber than the beef DMX had with K-Solo over that Spellbound track.
Prepare yourself now for the six man wedding!

Re: Nine - "ITS OVER DOG (DMX Diss)"
what kind of 9-5 job do you think he has since his profile days of the mid-90s?
Re: Nine - "ITS OVER DOG (DMX Diss)"
I don't know. Hopefully, he hasn't had to file for bankruptcy though.Philaflava wrote:what kind of 9-5 job do you think he has since his profile days of the mid-90s?
Wait, no that's wrong.

I don't know. Hopefully, he hasn't on the basis of gender, been excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance, though.Philaflava wrote:what kind of 9-5 job do you think he has since his profile days of the mid-90s?

Funnily enough, he isn't. Although he probably should.madstadik wrote:Im sure nine is getting that euro-trash money performing overseas
Even Special Ed is cashing in on that, turning up to shows looking like a homeless.

The intersection of Euro dialect and elderly Jewish/Italian-American ghetto talk is a beautiful thing.
