And therein lies the inherent danger in providing praise to a figure like Ace Hood: having to vouch for/ answer to any drivel they release after giving them credit for something they've done well.

Bugatti just sounds like some standard/ unremarkable radio hit. I suppose it's cool that Future sez, "I come lookin' for you with Haaaatianns" on the hook.

Not a favorite by any means.

Just got around to hearing this Hus Kingpin mixtape. Surprised that Digi Crates put this out because I thought they were more into producer based albums. Good shit though still.

Haven't listened to this in a sec either but Exquire's album is one of my top this year.

Future's awkward dancing during the hook in the video is the best thing about it. I do quite like it as far as songs I hear everywhere IRL go, though.

Should probably mention the 100 Grand remix too since it's the first IamSu! song I've really liked since the Deluxe edition of KILT.

no Spark Master Tape?

that Alpoko Don is interesting.
minimalist/acoustic rap album of the year. it's technically too long and too many tracks to be an "EP" as advertised, though.
he does better telling stories like "Gone Tomorrow" instead of his other dope dealer brag raps.

These Hoes has been crushing every speaker in my posession for the past few days. There's some other shit on here too but it's too early for me to suss it out. Beach House 2 is spotty as fuck, as was Beach House 1 and House on the Hill so I didn't have high expectations for this. Pleased with rachet-ass/ misogynistic rap sangin' over D.R.U.G.S. production. All the big name features and industry nonsense can kick rocks.

Surprised at the lack of Rugged Man mentions. To those who have heard it (I haven't myself), is it because it's bad or has it simply flown under everyone's radar?

In all fairness, when I said the above I figured that "Canada's polyamorous answer to Killah Priest" would be taken as a great compliment, as it should be. I did not figure that Employee would come shit-crawling out of the man's asshole like the sphincter-troll he is only to ruin the thread. Granted I shouldn't have let it get this far, but you know... Employee is the homie, and yes "Canada's polyamorous answer to Killah Priest" is NOTHING BUT A COMPLIMENT to :ignore:

Now, I return to tell you that, yes, the KP album IS the best hip hop creation of 2013, on a certain level.
Best double album I've heard since "Speakerboxxx/Love Below".
Best :wutang: record in years
and yes RZA should allow God'z Wrath to produce a third if not half of the new Wu-Tang record
Cappadonna needs to take himself several seats with those suggestions of Diddy and Swizz Beats to produce the new Wu :bunk:

Four or five songs are dope, but it was a pretty weak effort from RA.

Nah, Tha Connection has been doing all of their group and solo shit through them, I think. They've released a few other LI rap things too.

Wouldn't go that far, but it was pretty disappointing on the whole. Maybe half of it was decent, a quarter was pretty bad and another quarter was just awful.

Word. And that one posse cut on there is one of the best :wutang: songs in years too.

He got the other 2 Wu rappers with good releases this year to contribute verses that are arguably better than anything on said releases.
