Heard most of it this morning. Its good - a proper album rather than just 12 songs chucked together to appeal to as many regions and fanbases as possible. If you liked his other albums you'll enjoy it (I wasnt too keen on Record Of The Year but still bump Tronic and Popular Demand on the regs)

I just ordered the Vinyl LP, but the album overall is only ok. There's some really dope joints, which is why I bought the Vinyl LP, but there's also a lot of wack synth type shit which I just can't get into and think is wack. *shrugs*

What's REALLY dope is that new L'Orange & Stik Figa album...

How so?! I'm just not a big fan of that SYNTH shit... and in general, the new Black Milk album had some really wack tracks and it was cuz of the beats. It is what it is...

so basically you want everything to sound identical to the last the record you bought:

kick/snare/looped up sample
Approx 96bpm
Intro/outro so its nice and easy to mix.
Acceptable subject matter: Hip Hop, Weed, The Realness, Back In The Day, Skillz, Tha Streetz (and life therein but no mention of The Trap plz)

BM's drums are ridiculous and you're a dick.

Both of these statements are facts.

"Wack Synth Shit" >>>>> Poor imitations of the golden era sound.

Wicked: Music needs to progress to survive. If you were around in 78 you'd probably have been the dude complaining about Run DMC coming along and using guitar samples, or one of those people that thought the DAISY Age was ridiculous hippy shit

Agreed!! And you always mention the fact that I'm a dick... who cares? You know this. I know this. And most other people know this. Way to state to obvious, br0. #smh

Anyways, great drums are only ONE aspect of a song. Just sayin...

So Hiphop music havin some GAY Electronic SYNTH sounds incorporated is considered progressing??? haha C'mon, (step) son! In general I just don't care for MOST synth sounding shit. I will say though, the newest Clear Soul Forces album has a lot of synth sounding beats, but it doesn't bother me on their album and their album is actually a really solid album. It is what it is...

As for Run-DMC doing the Rock & Roll sound, well I've always thought a lot of that shit was kinda wack. *shrugs*

I need to play some damn 21. Fuck.

But I'm diggin that last 1:30 on Puritan Ave. Black milk doing some machingun dj shadow drum sequencing shit :gyeah: And his drums are a step above. Sunday's best' drums are siiiiiiiiiick. The heavy ASR-texture of Oddisee, but better snap and swing.

Love this dude.
