Getting back to beatmaking mode... took a few months off and slowing easing back into it daily... beataday 2 starting sometime next month... here comes another 100 beats/vids in 100 days, and there goes a good chunk of my summer

Started warming up on the beat/video tip 2 days ago just to dust the cobwebs off:

working on doing some things different this time around... details to come

and..... Windnbreeze solo album is finished/mixed...

New thing Im doing similar to beataday... verse of the week, all over my beataday beats...uhh weekly (duh)
Cryptic One wrote:During the duration of beataday season 2 I will be writing and recording a new verse every week over one of the new beats. I present to you the first episode of Verse of the Week... Subscribe so you dont miss any!

Beat: BeatadayS2E01
Vocals: Cryptic One

It keeps my mind at ease… but ill have you know
its times like these i miss times like those
but no
not stuck living in my past hey days
but travel there often for vacays
so make way
break away patterns
rhymes on an incline
say things that matter
chatter walking on that thin line
That rests between a rock and a hard place
between failure to signal and car chase
war pays
a bit more than crime does
blind justice no relation to that blind fuzz
that turns traffic stops to tragic shots
been aimed at too many times
police been acquitted of too many crimes
too many families left with too many whys
broken lives
Justice is blind, id be surprised if she tried to ever open her eyes
shove them scales where the sun don't quote unquote shine
Fuck you and your okie doke eyes
Bias grows as the soul is deprived
Meanwhile
Head of the beast quoting those rope a dope lies

Half black lives matter yall
cryptic one
Shouts to my mutts
Signing off
Mazeltovwhatimsayinyall
From the dreidel to the grave
Verse of the week
Peace

well done, cryp! beats 34 and 45 are my shit. you should produce an instrumental soundtrack-style album instead of beat collections.

thanks man!!

instrumental album "Solace in Solitude" is in the works... definitely in the world you are talking about.. tweaking it right now... full steam ahead to finish it once beataday 2 is finished (stopping at 100 again)

also in similar vein Im working with a female vocalist on an EP.... about 75% finished with that.. no idea where or when that will end up... but really liking what we have so far

and im going to release 10 of the first 50 beats as the next crypstramentals release in the next month or so... which will definitely have one if not both the beats you mentioned... stay tuned

nice stuff, my favorite bunch so far.

a drum roll can be so powerful and energetic, it's the most underrated element of hip hop production.

nice bunch of beats, man. you're real good with the drums.

full-length instrumentals would be great. maybe a few with vocals by yourself, windsnbreeze, breeze brewin, billy woods or ka.
