He's pretty close, but got Vol. 3 way too low. Putting it below American Gangster and BP3 is insane.

American Gangster is boring as shit.

Rating an album that features Mr Hudson above anything is ridiculous.

Vol. 3 is really good. Make sense that a vegan sports agent wouldn't like it tho.

Blueprint 2 - its got more good songs im not messin
Blueprint - idgaf if its his most well produced one, its mawkish fake family friendly phoned in jay bar a couple songs, Jay is supposed to be stuntin on us mortals not trying to pretend he is one. anyone that can listen to Song Cry without wanting to sell bogie crack and blood diamonds to the babies doesnt deserve a vote
Black Album times ten

Ive not listened to the rest of them more than once and some of them not at all, weve been tricked

Vol 3 literally has 3 good songs in So Ghetto, Snoopy Track, and Big Pimpin. I know I am in the minority because people seem to really dig that album but I just don't see it. I even like more than 3 songs on KC.

edit: I liked Come and Get me as well. Forgot about that joint. Rest of the album is straight cringe worthy material.

"Dope Man" and "Watch Me" are choice. The Mariah song conjures fond memories too.

...and "There's Been a Murder."

I think people just have a bad taste for Volume 3 in their mouthes because of the lead single being so bafflingly non-lead-single-y, as well as there only being two official singles off the project.

And some copies had this classic tacked on too.

Man I've listened to so much Jay-Z today. It's been fantastic.

God, I hated Vol 3. To each their own. That's the beauty of music. Those videos remind me even more.

The way you guys feel about Vol 3 is how I feel about BP 2.

Excuse Me Miss
All Around The World
My Way
Diamond Is Forever
Guns N Roses
U Don't Know Remix
Meet The Parents
Somehow Some Way
Some People Hate
Blueprint 2
Show You How
Bitches & Sisters
What They Gon 2 Pt 2

There were a lot of jams on that album. The rest was blah and that is what hurt the album. It didn't need so many songs or be a double and the Bonnie And Clyde shit cast an initial shadow, but I got a lot of enjoyment bumping that shit. Vol 2 or 3 don't come close, imo. And Jay was spitting at a very high level on this.

:fail:

I was dealt a bad hand, fuck what else could I do
But keep somethin up my sleeve that'll help me through
But can you believe, everywhere I'm at, models come through
Cat-fightin, cat-walkin, it happens often
It's true how society don't want me to move
Into the penthouse building with spectacular views
They're like uhh, "He's a menace he could never be a tenant"
I'm like ooh, what's a young nigga to do?
I bring the brothers to the building give a feeling that I don't
Give a fuck we just chillin watchin chandelier ceilings high as fuck
Old lady, don't blow my high
'specially if you don't know my life, don't make me bring
Sharpton in it cause I'm dark-skinneded or
Dude with the 'fro and the Rainbow Coalition, I'mma
Victim of a single parent household, born in a mousehole
Mousetrap, niggas wanna know
How so, how Jay get up out that, here, yeah
I snatched purses I per-se-vered, yeah
I had work, fiends purchased, it was clear
I was out there sellin hope for despair, but stop there
I swear, I only meant good from my mouth to God's ears
Had to get out the hood

Surely there must be something better you can post about in M2C than ranking Jay-Z albums for the seven billionth time?
