innovator, pioneer, influential, respected, game changer, the list goes on. dude was a one of a kind and obviously one of my favorite musicians growing up and to this day. I'm very lucky I got to see and meet him during the 90s at Triple Six shows.

I'm sure everyone is speculating it but he recently recovered from a stroke and had existing health problems. As an admitted drug abuser the syrup, coke and pills couldn't have helped but they didn't seem to interfere with his work ethic as he released endless material. The "official" statement was that he suffered a heart attack. His girlfriend said he complained he felt exhausted and wanted to sleep. When his mother found him he was dead at the kitchen table in her home where his loved ones found him.

The triple six story has been checkered with enemies and in-fighting but all across the rap industry and especially in Memphis where infamous spent the majority of his time a resounding "Scarecrow was cool" response was prevalent. It's definitely a huge loss but on the good side is that he's almost surely got vaults of unreleased material and Paul will most likely send him off with a blast.
