Official Two-9 Thread (Curtis Williams, FatKidsBrotha ...)
I haven't seen a comprehensive thread on the subject, so I figured I'd do a mega thread.
Two-9 ... they are pretty dope. Spatially, they are all over the place, but the two founding members (Key! and Curtis Williams) hail from Atlanta. So do Retro Sushi. FatKidBrothas originally came from Detroit, but I think they're based in Atlanta now. So basically they are the south's answer to OFWGKTA. Their sound has a heavy OFWKGTA influence (especially EastsideParadise2 by FatKidsBrotha).
Seems like nobody knows about them though. XXL did a story on them last year, around spring, but it seems like nothing ever came out of it. I've tried scouring forums, to kind of get at the pulse of the game right now, to see what the general feel is of these guys, but to no avail. All I can see/hear is birds chirping ... what gives?
I'd love to know what M2C thinks of these cats.
Also, if there's already a thread here about them, sorry in advance, I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

Re: Official Two-9 Thread (Curtis Williams, FatKidsBrotha ..
the only reason i ever heard of them is because Nardwuar asked Trinidad Jame$ if he ever heard of them in his interview. Jame$ said "yes".

Is Snubnose Franksenstein not a member of these dudes?
Re: Official Two-9 Thread (Curtis Williams, FatKidsBrotha ..
^ nah, but I think he might've been featured in a song or two. if not that, then he might've used the same producer that curtis williams did (i.e. childish major)
Also, I updated the first post with the group's discography (at least what I could find)

Shit's dope. But I think these kids are more influenced by TDE and Beast Coast then Odd Future.

new short video by Jace of Retro Sushi.
beat samples this
Re: Official Two-9 Thread (Curtis Williams, FatKidsBrotha ..
New Two-9 tape out:

World Go Crazy (the single) is heat. The beats are slamming.
I almost wasn't going to post this, given how allergic M2C is to Two-9 but fuck it. 99% of Emps posts are spam anyways and nobody seems to mind. Mods, forgive this one transgression.

Seriously man? You are going to ignore this thread that I put a lot of effort into:

Post your updates there. This is redundant.
